Oca question for Klaus
Hi Klaus,
I have Oca Tubers for planting this year (sorry I was too late to get them from yourself).
I plan on following your advise on growing these but was wondering how you would recommend I store them until April.

Hi Don,
Oca tubers need to be stored in a cold but frost free room (garage or shed) in a container filled with soil or sand.
If you only have a few tubers you could plant them individually into 9cm pots or (slightly larger) and still keep them in a cold room . As soon as you notice shoots you need to bring the pots into a greenhouse or tunnel.
The danger is that they are planted out too early and the frost will kill off the leaves.
